Thanks to all our supporters for your generosity.
You are appreciated!

 We also appreciate your prayers! In this time of political turmoil in Honduras, we ask for your prayers for:

* peace in the country
* no need for curfews so we can move about freely
* less rain so people can get to our classes
* for our Deaf students to understand the Gospel and accept as Savior

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

"National Day of the Bible" - awesome holiday!

Carita de Angel School for Children with Disabilites continues to be blessing to our community. Teaching Bible lessons to the students is one the high points of our week. Today we enjoyed the help of a good friend and 35 year missionary to Honduras, Harold Priday. We thank God for the many cooperative relationships that help make our ministry more effective.
 Praise God for wonderful volunteers in La Esperanza!

A bit over 1 year ago we started a class in a mountain town about an hour away. It is a nice, quiet, dusty place (or muddy, depending on weather) sitting at 5900' elevation - the last stop before you enter what's called the "frontier". The project enjoys the support of many Christian volunteers, a public school and the mayor's office. We are so proud of them! When we got back we found the class is as big as ever. The deaf kids showed us a new song they had learned and one of the volunteers showed us a new Bible lesson they are learning. Too cool!

Honduran political situation on front burner again...

We figured you might want to see the local news, reported accurately. Top headline says - "Removal (of ex-president) from office was legal. Line of succession was the suitable one, says a study prepared by Legal Library of Congress of the United States, but it also points out that it was not appropriate to have expelled Manuel Zelaya of the country."
Second says - "They cry out for elections. Thousands in the capital again reject the intervention of the international community that presses for the restitution of the ex-president and demand they respect the self-determination of the people."
You can keep up with things if you wish by going to the newspaper's site at   laprensa.hn   through Google and hitting the translate button on the tool bar.
We are blessed to be serving God and the Honduran people. Please pray for us. If you feel led to participate with us financially, you can mail your gifts to the US address below. Thank you and may God continue to bless you.
