Getting carded all the time...
We thank God for official residency in Honduras, right down to getting our ID cards. The "Carne" (card) is something you need to open a bamk account, get a Honduran driver's licence, enter the country without needing to renew visas, etc.
We finalized all the paperwork in June, and Mike picked up the cards before flying back to US a few weeks ago.

At Sarah & Drew's wedding...
Grace Michael Josh Esther Drew Sarah Mike Martha Ruth Scotty
So what's the herd up to?
Sarah's wedding to Drew went really well. They have gone to North Carolina so she can do a semester of student teaching to finish her degree in Deaf Ed.
Esther is back in classes at Moody Bible Institute. Her husband Josh has landed a new job, which is the one he wanted. Thanks to God!
Michael has started his first semester at Texas Wesleyan University. We are proud he has snagged a scholarship for his drama abilities.
Ruth's wedding plans have been altered. Her fiance' Scotty is in the Army and has accepted their offer to go into Ranger training, but that nixed his planned leave. They like the overall benefits of the change but have to re-schedule the wedding.
Grace is enjoying being around friends and home church in Texas. Her recuperation is going well and is able to do a Chemistry class in the meantime. She'll return to Honduras in October after her back has healed completely. |
Gratitude for all of God's blessings Our Heavenly Father has always been faithful and will always be faithful. Although most of us pray to be spared from great problems and great needs, it is when we have great needs that we get to see God provide in great ways.
We thank God for the various trials and tests we have experienced, and want to use this space to say "THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER" for being faithful to provide exceedingly abundantly above we ask of think, for knowing our needs before we ask, for preparing good works for us to, and for providing all we require for life and godliness.
And especially for the blessed hope of eternal life in heaven, which we in no way deserve. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
