Greetings!
Thanks for subscribing to our newsletter! We are honored to share God's love with these people who are largely neglected by their society. We hope you are encouraged and blessed by these glimpses into our daily activities. May God bless you!
How amazing to see God change lives in such obvious ways down here, and quickly. Most of the Deaf children that come into our lives know nothing of sign language, other than a few homemade signs for basic things at home. They are typically withdrawn and shy. God's love transforms them in a few weeks or months. They gain self-confidence, become more outgoing and are excited about being able to learn for the first time. The greatest part of this transformation is seeing them discover there is a God who loves them and wants to communicate with them. Truly priceless.

These children & teenagers were brought to a meeting 2 weeks ago, so we could meet each other. They have had no sign language for the most part; only one knew her own name and she didn't understand the question "how old are you?". Please pray for them and their families. Thanks to God for caring Christians in the city leadership of La Paz and Dept of Education, who have invited us to teach a class in their city. We'll let you know in the next newsletter how things are going.
