Grace's surgery for scoliosis is scheduled for July 8th. This is extensive, as they will need to open the entire spine for inspection. Using bone grafts from her hip, they will repair any areas that did not heal properly from her surgery 2 years ago. She is such a strong young lady of 15, facing this with courage and trust in God. We are proud of her, and ask for your prayers. It normally takes 3 months for sufficient recuperation to travel, so we'll here in the US for a few months. |

Sarah & Drew's wedding was an awesome experience. Hope you were one of those who made it. We are very proud of them, and pray God's richest blessings on the marriage. May they be an accurate reflection of Christ and His church. |
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms."

Quick trip to Honduras packed with blessings... #1 purpose was RESIDENCY!
Last week we made a hurried trip back to Honduras, so we could finalize our residency without receiving penalities and fines, and possibly losing the newly granted status. Thanks to God we got 3 year residency, with 2 years additional approved.
Typically missionaries get 1 year at a time. Please pray for the Honduran gov't - their president is trying to change the constitution and go communist as his friend Chavez did in Venezuela. This makes establishing our residency now, and for a longer time period, a bigger potential blessing.

Blessing # 2 ... 5 meetings with the Deaf
In just 6 days, we were able to do our residency in the capital city, plus meet with the Deaf in 5 different cities. We made 2 new lessons, reviewed our previous lessons, and worked on our new dictionary format.
The greatest encouragement - our Deaf teenagers & their families were able to answer all our review questions about Creation, Garden of Eden and Fall, and Life of Christ lessons in sign language. That is awesome!
2nd greatest encouragement - in the photo above, you see our La Esperanza and Jesus de Otoro classes are continuing to meet without us, with the parents and teachers taking turns leading the classes!
We left them another DVD of new lessons to study and then teach. Thanks to God for His work in their lives.

Blessing #3 ... cooperative efforts continue -
Honduran friends we work with have a vocational school / church in a poor area and while sharing a meal, Samaritan's Purse showed up with supplies and food for the poor. They brought cloth for their sewing classes and rabbit cages for their ag program, as well as bulk bags of food. It is always a blessing to see the cooperative work of the Body of Christ, achieving God purposes for His glory and honor. |
Cooperative efforts mean you too can be involved!
When we moved to Honduras, we put together a shipping container and shared the space with another ministry. Now they are putting together a shipment and sharing the space with us! So, we can send items down. How does that involve you? You can join our team effort by helping supply the items! We want to send Bibles, supplies for our ministry, and vocational school tools & equipment. If you have the following items, or want to donate money any of these items, please contact us.
for our ministry: Biblia Illustradas (for Deaf and illiterate) - $5.25 each
Bibles for Prisoners - $3.75 each
Dehumidifiers - 2 @ $169. each
Laminating Machine & supplies - approx $90.
